Western Massachusetts Fly Fishermen (WMFF) participates in a variety events throughout the year. Such events are WMFF’s presence at the Springfield Sportsman Show and the group’s own “March Expo” during the third Monday in March where a number of local fishing and tying vendors have a presence to offer knowledge, services, and materials to members and the general public. Another event is a free 8-week fly tying course open to the public that WMFF offers to bring the knowledge, skill, and art of fly tying to individuals who want to learn or to the more experienced fly tyers who want to hone their skills and learn new techniques.
But WMFF will not stop there as WMFF is looking to expand the number of events, such as mentor-pairing and working with other local organizations to partake in activities such as river cleanups and preservation projects. Although, these ideas are in the early stages planning so please check the WMFF Events blog often for any updates and news.
If you have any questions or you are an organization with suggestions for an event, please contact WMFF by email or telephone as listed on the Contact page.
